In-cab Operator Displays
KeTech Systems In-cab Operator Multifunctional Display offers an innovative high technology solution to the provision of critical train running information to train operators. The In-cab Operator Display is based on LCD technology and thus offers a degree of configurability and flexibility in design, that is without precedent.
It has been designed to meet the harsh operating environments of both the Underground / Metro environment, as well as the over ground heavy rail environment. The display is typically mounted on the control panel in front of the driver and can be adapted to accommodate available space envelopes for retrospective installations.
Vital information provided to the train operator includes:
- Vehicle current speed / target speed
- Position on route
- TMS Critical Status information, presented in plain language
